Problem Statement
Online dating is hugely popular, but it's not without its problems. Many existing dating apps focus too much on physical appearance, neglecting the importance of personality and values in forming meaningful connections. Also, these apps often don't keep users' private information safe, which makes them feel unhappy and unsafe.
The Objective
The goal is to connect people based on what they care about, like their shared interests, values & personalities while making sure their privacy and safety are the top priorities. The aim is to make dating more fun and meaningful experience for users.

Some Key Features of the app
Matches users based on shared interests, values, and personalities rather than just physical appearance.
Allows users to maintain privacy with anonymous profiles while offering the option to reveal more information to potential matches.
Encourages users to refer friends to the app, earning rewards such as gems to purchase items from the in-app store.
Engages users by prompting them to answer questions that reveal insights into their personality, fostering deeper connections with potential matches.

Learnings from interviews & Surveys:
Personality Matters: Users prioritize personality traits like hobbies, education, and values, alongside physical appearance, for compatibility.
Privacy Concerns: Users fear being recognized by family or friends on dating apps, underlining the importance of privacy.
Rejection Fear: Fear of rejection hinders users from initiating dates or interactions.
Swift Swiping: Users tend to quickly swipe through profiles, potentially missing out on meaningful connections.
Competitive Analysis
Choosing the right competitors for the audit is important!
MY LEARNINGS:
Competitors primarily rely on photo-centric engagement strategies, lacking personalized matchmaking features.
OKCupid stands out by digging deeper into users' personalities compared to other apps.
Existing platforms face challenges in effectively assessing compatibility without direct user interaction.
I brainstormed methods for understanding users' personalities and partner preferences, balancing the shift towards personality-centric matching against a challenges posed by emphasizing personality over looks 🖌️
Design Decision Summary
Opting for a playful and engaging design tone.
Due to time constraints, I opted not to develop a comprehensive design system.
Employing two contrasting font styles to create a clear visual hierarchy.
